The Scalp Reset

Skincare stops at your hairline — that's the problem

Treat the scalp like the skin it is. Clear it weekly, care for it nightly. Comfort and lift follow.

Comfort in 2 weeks. Lift and shedding patterns answer over 8 to 12 weeks.

This is for you if…

  • Itchy, flaky roots that shampoo does not fix
  • Hair sits flat by mid-afternoon whatever you use
  • More hairs in the brush than there used to be
  • Real money on face care, four pounds on the skin above it
  • Dry shampoo is becoming a lifestyle

What’s going on

Your scalp is skin. The same rules as your face. It builds up product, oil and old cells. It flakes when stripped or stressed. And it grows every hair you own from the ground you give it.

The reset is face logic, above the hairline. Clear the build-up properly. Condition the lengths without re-coating the roots. And care for the scalp itself with a calming, strengthening tonic. One honest line: sudden or patchy hair loss is a GP matter. This routine tends the garden. It does not treat conditions.

What causes it

  • Build-up. Dry shampoo, styling products and old conditioner, adding up faster than a quick lather removes.
  • Stripping washes. Harsh shampoo triggers the same rebound oil as harsh face soap.
  • Hot water and rough towels. Skin rules apply at the hairline too.
  • Stress and hormones. Shedding waves follow hard seasons by about three months.
  • Plain neglect. The scalp got nothing while the face got nine products.

The plan at a glance

Wash days

  1. Clear — the scaling shampoo, massaged into the scalp for a full minute.
  2. Condition — ears down only.
  3. Weekly: the rinse-off scalp treatment. Five minutes.

Evenings

  1. Care — the cica and peptide tonic on the scalp. A minute of massage.

The steps

Clarify

Morning & evening

A genuinely clean scalp. The ground floor of every hair goal

A rosemary scaling shampoo lifts the build-up ordinary shampoo leaves behind. Product residue, oil plugs, and the flaky film that makes roots itch and hair sit flat.

Why it matters: Scalp is skin. It collects, it clogs, it flakes. Every scalp goal — comfort, lift, less shedding — starts with clearing the ground the hair grows from.

How to do it: Massage into the scalp, not just the hair, for a full minute before rinsing. Patience does more than a second lather.

Condition — lengths only

Morning & evening

Soft lengths without re-coating the scalp you just cleared

A rosemary conditioner smooths and strengthens the lengths. Applied from the ears down, so the cleared scalp stays clear.

Why it matters: Conditioner on the roots is how clean scalps get quietly re-buried. And how 'my hair goes flat by evening' happens. Lengths need it. The scalp does not.

How to do it: Ears down only. Leave a minute. Rinse thoroughly. Left-over conditioner anywhere is build-up with a head start.

Treat

Evening

Skincare-grade care for the skin that grows your hair

A cica and peptide scalp tonic, plus its rinse-off treatment sibling. They bring calming and strengthening care straight to the scalp.

Why it matters: Shedding and thinning have many causes. Hormones, stress, genes. Sudden or patchy loss is a GP matter. But a calm, well-kept scalp is the part you can care for at home. This step is where that happens.

How to do it: Tonic: section the hair, apply to the scalp on dry or towel-dried hair, massage a minute, leave in. Treatment: weekly in the shower, on the scalp, rinse after five minutes.

What to expect

  • Weeks 1–2 — the itch and flake settle. Roots stay fresh longer.
  • Weeks 3–6 — visible lift at the roots as build-up stops flattening them.
  • Weeks 8–12 — shedding patterns answer on hair's slow clock. Judge monthly, by the brush and the parting. Sudden or patchy loss: GP this week, no shampoo needed first.
