Post-Sun Recovery
For the day after the sun won
48 hours of cool, water and rich care. Help your skin recover instead of adding to its workload. (A burn with blisters is one for the pharmacy or GP, not skincare.)
48 to 72 hours. Back to normal when the heat is gone.
This is for you if…
- You got more sun than planned — pink, hot, tight
- Holiday skin: salt, chlorine, sun and hotel soap in one week
- Your after-sun plan is currently 'hope'
- Skin feels dry in a way water does not touch
- You want to limit the damage properly

The steps
Layer water back in
Morning & eveningThe water your skin used to make, applied instead
Hyaluronic toners return the water your skin no longer holds so well. Layered on damp skin, they do the filling work that makes everything after them look better.
Why it matters: Menopausal dryness is a supply problem, not a product failure. The fix is adding water on purpose, in layers, daily. Two thin layers beat one thick one.
How to do it: Press the first layer into damp skin after washing. Add a second where skin still feels tight. The seven-skins method exists for exactly this skin.
- Hyaluronic Acid
Pick the one you want. You can also add another product from this step.
How to choose between these
Torriden's Dive-In is the multi-depth classic. Haruharu's Black Rice toner has a slightly richer feel some drier skins prefer.
Soak
WeeklyTwenty minutes of deep watering your skin cannot get any other way
A sheet mask pins a watery essence against your skin and stops it drying off. Twenty minutes of cover that pushes water in far better than hands can.
Why it matters: Once a week, not daily. Daily soaking can upset skin. That is how a calming ritual becomes a new problem. Weekly, it is the best water top-up in skincare.
How to do it: On clean, toned skin. Fifteen to twenty minutes. Never until the mask dries — a drying mask starts pulling water back OUT. Peel, pat the essence in, seal with the next step.
- Hyaluronic Acid
- Centella Asiatica
Pick the one you want. You can also add another product from this step.
How to choose between these
Pick by this week's need. Thirsty skin: the Torriden or Isntree hyaluronic masks. Cranky, reactive week: Anua's heartleaf, BOJ's centella, or Pyunkang Yul's calming mask. There is no prize for using the same one every time.
Feed the barrier
Morning & eveningThe fats your skin stopped making, delivered daily
Ceramide and beta-glucan creams restock the fats your skin no longer supplies itself. The difference between skin that feels fragile and skin that feels solid.
Why it matters: This dryness is not surface-deep. The skin's wall is getting fewer raw materials. Feeding it directly, daily, on damp skin, is the core of the whole shift.
How to do it: On damp skin after the water layers, morning and evening. Thicker at night. This is the step never to skip on a lazy day.
- Ceramides
Pick the one you want. You can also add another product from this step.
How to choose between these
Aestura 365 is the ceramide flagship. iUNIK's Beta-Glucan 3X is the deeper-moisture route when skin wants even more cushion.
